What's Eating Willard Today

* Willard speaks to tha Hispanics. One wonders why he's bothering, since, according to sources close to Romney they're mostly never gonna vote for him anyway. That said, kudoes for saying "illegal immigrants" on Univision; that's the sorta chutzpah that'll land you a sweet gig on Sabado Gigante in case this preznit thing falls through.

* Mittens now approves of a two state solution. Of course, he's talking about dividing America into Gotmineistan and North Fuckoffyou, but why quibble over details?

* Mitt Romney: ‘This Is A Campaign About The 100%’. In other words:

* The now-cast over t'538 has Rmoney's chances dropping to 5.6% -- and his share of the popular vote at 47%. Just sayin'. (It was said by other people better elsewhere, but 47% is just too big a number *not* to include some white folks, and thus was a step too far. If you see what I'm saying.)

(Above Ta-Nehisi Coates link fixed.)

Heh-heh-heh. Now Willard's saying "I think people would like to pay taxes."

Y'know, I could maybe buy that "the base" might momentarily believe that the 47% thing doesn't include any of the "right kind of people" (ie "believing in magic angel babies"), but ask 'em if they're hankerin' after a tax increase 'cuz, well, they're just that way?

"This is beyond Mondale-esque in its political stupidity."

-- Daniel Larison, in One More Reason to Distrust Romney on The American Conservative

You just can't get good help these days.

Ditto. I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for you lousy internets.
