Even More Random Notes Page

* New Guinea Singing Dogs on Animal Planet -- and tha wikis.

* Thanne longen folk to goon on pilgrimages (other than Santiago de Compostela, that is):
-- A piedi a Roma da Clara Coppini, Massimo Dalla Torre.
-- Database of Shrines and Pilgrimage in the Netherlands. Per the site, "The bulk of all this information is however presented in the Dutch language."
-- Enrico Brizzi on tha Wikis: "In 2006 Enrico Brizzi walked (and biked some) for three months from Canterbury to Rome along the ancient pilgrims' path known as Via Francigena. His reportage was published on issues 30-31-32-33-34 on Italian leading weekly magazine L'espresso." Apparently he's also the author of Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo the which is a) new to me, and b) my next library loan type deal, I'm thinking.
-- The Cammino di Assisi (maybe the same as the "Franciscan Route"?) and the Via Francigena.
-- Other major Christian pilgrimmage sites around el mondo, and especially Italy.

* Discipline and Punish: The Birth of the Prison by Michel Foucault. HT LdA and KQ.

Started reading the English translation of "Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo", got through the first 5 or so pages, and then put it down. Wasn't my cup of cha.
