Re: my comment in the comments, here's some Ta-Nehisi Coates, his last (probably) in a series of back-and-forths on this topic with Andrew Sullivan.

With regards to Andrew Sullivan, it was a one-two punch for me.

First, he did an ask me anything video on Why Andrew Hates Baby Boomers. (spoiler alert) All the problems in the US are because all boomers feel entitled to social programs they were promised (and paid into) and they are all anti-abortion and anti-gay.

Then this:
"I remain gob-smacked by the resilience of IQ differences between broad racial groups"

It's been so disappointing to hear a voice I respected bunch people into groups that fit his biases and his "facts".

Thanks for posting this video highlighting the idiocy of stereotyping anyone.

@Anonymous: It's hard -- impossible even -- to separate out basic research on this topic and the political ends such research is used to justify. I think Ta-Nehisi Coates at the Atlantic has more and better things to say on this topic than I could ever come up with.

Yeah, I agree that race and IQ seems a questionable thing for Sullivan to wax on about.
